Microsoft Office 2007 Implementation

The Microsoft Office 2007 implementation project involved upgrading all 1,200 computers with in Nu Skin Enterprises to Microsoft Office 2007. I was involved with the roll out to the computers, training and support of Office 2007.

Nu Skin Enterprises World Convention 2007

Provided onsite technical support for the Nu SKin Enterprises US Convention in the fall of 2007. Over 12,000 Nu Skin Distributors from all the markets around the world are in attendance at this convention.

Required taskes:

• Hardware setup
• Provide technical support.
• Provide distributor support.
• Hardware take down.

Nu Skin Enterprises US Convention 2006

Provided onsite technical support for the Nu SKin Enterprises US Convention in the fall of 2006. Over 5000 Nu Skin Distributors are in attendance at this convention.

Internship - Publicly Accessible Knowledge Base

I applied and qualified for internship credit with Utah Valley State College with a project that I was given by my employer at Nu Skin Enterprises. The Help Desk with Nu Skin has a database of over 700 knowledge base articles with resolutions to many known technical problems and issues that are relevant to the Nu Skin employees. The goal of my project was to make those KB articles available to all the Nu Skin employees. The goal was completed as I worked with other Nu Skin employees to make a webpage available where users can search the knowledge base articles and find their own resolutions.

ENGL 2020 Course Paper

In my ENGL 2020 intermediate writing class we turned in a course research paper that we worked on throughout the semester. The assignment was to research about how something is done. The teacher gave us the freedom to choose the topic, as long as we were researching a process. I chose to research skiing advertisements in magazines. I wanted to know what made them good, and what went into them to make them catch. I really researched what made a good skiing advertisement.
